OUR STORY

From Selling Strom from the boot of my company car to having the most holistic bodybuilding Platform in the UK.


First and foremost, I was introduced into the bodybuilding world at around the age of 30. I was fortunate to meet a fine gentleman called Jim Boulton who was an extremely successful competitive bodybuilder and worked alongside Kerry Kayes, Dorian Yates & Scot Gledhill to name a few. I guess if it wasn’t for this meeting we would never have got started.

WHEN?

SEPTEMBER 2019

Founded in September 2019 by myself (Robbie Burton) and incorporated in July 2020 following my redundancy due to the covid outbreak, Full Boar Sports Nutrition has been making a name for itself in the UK BB scene. We only work with respected coaches and high-level competitive athletes that perform on the world stage.

HOW AND WHY DID IT START?

During my first season

During my first ever BB season in 2019 I had started to do some content on Instagram about the supplements I was using from Strom Sports Nutrition to support my personal health and performance.  Messages from friends and gym members started coming in asking me if I could source these products for them. It was obvious there was a high demand so I approached Richard Foster (Owner & Founder) and we got work.

Bodybuilding is my passion; it’s also an extremely expensive sport and even though I had a well-paid job I had to budget hard to make things happen. This led me to think if I’m having to struggle then others would be too so how can I help them? 

I started speaking to fellow bodybuilders and friends to ask for their help in promoting the business and in return they would get hugely discounted supplementation to assist in their health and performance. I wanted to ensure they got the help and support that I had got from Strom!

OUR PURPOSE

When I look back at my 2019 Bodybuilding Journey there were so many gaps in my knowledge and understating. Information was fragmented and good quality advice and guidance was limited. It was time I Started to fill these gaps and in June 2022 I created the Full Boar Sports Members Site. A platform focused on delivering education that would encompass every step of your journey to the stage. 

THE FINAL PIECE

In my early years of training & BB I was exposed to the benefits of having private health screening through ‘The Hench Project’ that was run by Strom Sports Nutrition and funded by the NHS. This was the inspiration behind us setting up our blood testing service with DR Martin Kinsella who is an innovator in bio identical hormones.
