Hey hey,
So third week of reverse dieting and I’m already starting to feel more like myself.
After the initial bump in calories and reduction in cardio once deciding to end the diet, we’ve held off making any changes too much too fast. I’m still not on a lot of food by any means but it is a lot better than where I was a few weeks ago.
I’ve got my photoshoot coming up this weekend. Embracing a little softer look is not something I envisaged but it will represent a truer representation of me as I’m not the kind of person that’s lean all year round generally so I’m just embracing it!
Training has already started to get more enjoyable as I feel like I’ve got more energy to push now – I will be focussing on getting my strength back over the coming weeks.
Current diet:
TD- 1500 (10 postworkout cardio)
RD- 1300 (30 mins cardio)
Hey hey,
Super excited to be documenting my journey on here. I’ll give you a quick rundown of where I’m up to and what my current goals are.
So following a 5 year break away from the stage I competed last year whilst working as a full time Physiotherapist in the NHS and won my classes in the Graftism Grand Prix and The Arnold’s UK. I had the smoothest prep and loved it! No plans go step on stage at any point this year.
I started Excel Coaching part time in November just after I stepped off stage and what started as a side hustle quickly grew into something way bigger than that. I found myself in my physio job just not interested in the work and decided I needed to pursue what I actually got excited about and that’s exactly what I did. Quit my NHS job and became a full time online coach – best decision I’ve ever made.
I was currently dieting for a photoshoot but after my body was not responding in the way it usually would and based off recent bloods, I have decided I need to do what’s best for my health and move away from dieting. It’s not an ideal situation, but the answer is I just need more time in a surplus.. oh well more food it is lol.
Will keep you updated with how this reverse phase goes and looking forward to keeping you all updated with my offseason.
