So a update on where I am in off-season.
Things have been a bit up and down over the last few weeks with food being very high and it playing up on my digestion and stomach. When food is 7000 calories and carbs at 1000g it is always going to cause some issues some how. It was affecting my energy and mood and even training so we pulled 400 calories out and I feel a lot better already. I was up at 295 pounds and now dropped a couple pounds and like I said feel a lot better. Training has started to really improve now and almost at all time strength again. I very much expect to surpass this very soon and see some big numbers. I still have around 14 weeks left of this push. Some new drugs have went in this week while we keep food the same so we don’t have more issues there and we will see if my body allows more food in the coming weeks.
Can’t always be a case of push push push when the body is just saying no. Body is an amazing durable thing but it can only do so much. If it’s not happy then it’s not responsive.
Fairly happy with my size right now and the look I’m holding. Touch more fat around lower back than I would like but it is what it is and we need to add tissue. Please stay tuned to my instagram page for progress and some big lifts.
Any questions then please ask Away :)
Dean,
Mostly oats, rice, pasta. But my post workout carbs are cereal, bagel, krispy square bars, honey. I take in over 300g carbs in my post workout. All of these sit and digest very well.
