Hey hey,

So another week, another food drop… if I’m honest progress so far has felt slow for me.

Don’t get me wrong I’m definitely getting tighter, but due to the fact that I am at my heaviest still, I wish things were moving a little quicker. The scales have not budged a single pound over the month of February and this is where I have to practice what I preach to clients and try remove my emotion towards the scale.

Scale weight isn’t everything and so many factors will be contributing to the number on the scale. I think due to the fact that my previous diet phase was pretty unsuccessful (I had to do A LOT to get in decent shape for a photoshoot which was definitely not the level of condition I actually wanted to aim for), I am definitely more aware when things aren’t moving how I’d like them to.

Luckily I have my coach and Joe to keep my head on and give it a wobble when needed.

Current calories are: TD 1580, RD 1360
6x 30 mins cardio and 12k steps per day with no off plans

Will continue to keep you updated on progress – we stay focused

Hey hey

So as expected, a food drop this week. No changes to cardio/steps.

Things seem to be moving now. The scales haven’t moved a great amount but body composition definitely improved. I feel like I’ve had more social events over this last month than I had the whole of last year which has meant things have been moving slowly.

I actually celebrated one year fully self employed this week since quitting my NHS physio job to be a coach full time. Two work friends came to visit and it really was a full circle moment getting to show them around to Dubai and see what I now do day to day with work.

A fair few meals out and drinks were had. Although I’m always mindful around social occasions it’s a given when you’re someone like me who has to diet on low food that overall calorie intake will be greater. Now it’s full prep mode until the end of this diet phase. I’m sure we’ll see a bigger shift now and I’m here for it.
